Hi-Steel HSLA-80
Hi - Speed, high Speed Steel Tool Steel (made) : highly processed into the Tool Steel, carbon content high, while containing cr quantity is low (about 4%), reason burnish of Steel surface gloss darker, after heat can reach by HRc62 high hardness, resistance to rust performance not on a roll.

Heat Resistant Steel

Alloy and Carbon Steel
Alloy steel is steel alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts of between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy steels are broken down into two groups: low alloy steels and high alloy steels. The difference between the two is somewhat arbitrary: Smith and Hashemi define the difference at 4.0%, while Degarmo, et al., define it at 8.0 %.[1][2] Most commonly, the phrase "alloy steel" refers to "low alloy" steels.

DESCRIPTION
Modified alloy plate is a medium carbon, medium Alloy steel. This plate has a hardness, strength and toughness that cannot be achieved in mild plate steel. This material finds application where AISI 6150 or similar alloys are acceptable, but not available in large sections. In the annealed condition, modified alloy plate steel machines as well as comparable materials with comparable structures. The one percent chromium alloy addition imparts a greater degree of strength and toughness than is possible with carbon plate steel of the same carbon content.
The alloy content allows the steel to be hardened fully in oil thereby resulting in a finished Product having a minimum of movement and distortion.

HEAT TREATMENT
May be hardened safely by any of the conventional method of treatment: direct heating and quenching, flame hardening, induction hardening, and in some cases, carburizing and hardening if the mass of section or if the design permits.
The physical and thermal properties compare favorably to those of similar steels. In flame hardening, the expected hardness range is Rockwell C 58-60 regardless of section size, since only the immediate surface is affected by this process of hardening.
