Hi-Steel HSLA-80
Hi - Speed, high Speed Steel Tool Steel (made) : highly processed into the Tool Steel, carbon content high, while containing cr quantity is low (about 4%), reason burnish of Steel surface gloss darker, after heat can reach by HRc62 high hardness, resistance to rust performance not on a roll.

Heat Resistant Steel
Heat resistant steel. AS Orlov Izobret. Mashinostr. 3, 48-49, 7/2000. The purpose of this work was to increase plasticity of heat resistant steel after aging at the 500-1300 deg C temperature and to improve its operational reliability.

Alloy and Carbon Steel
Alloy steel is steel alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts of between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy steels are broken down into two groups: low alloy steels and high alloy steels. The difference between the two is somewhat arbitrary: Smith and Hashemi define the difference at 4.0%, while Degarmo, et al., define it at 8.0 %.[1][2] Most commonly, the phrase "alloy steel" refers to "low alloy" steels.

Weldability
NAS 630 can be welded with the same sorts of techniques as a standard austenitic Stainless steel. To obtain the maximum welding efficiency, use the standard solution and H900 treatments after welding.
Heat Treatment
Supplied in a solid solution heat treated form, NAS 630 requires precipitation hardening heat treatment as shown below after working to ensure the maximum mechanical performance is reached. If ductility is required, we recommend H1150, which can be machined after precipitation hardening.
- H900 heat treatment condition: 400 to 490℃ Air cooling
- H1150 heat treatment condition: 610 to 630℃ Air cooling
Pickling
To remove thin scales from aging and welding scales, we recommend immersion in warm nitric-fluoric acid (10 percent nitric acid, 2 percent hydrofluoric acid).
Applications
NAS 630 provides corrosion resistance nearly equal to a standard austenitic stainless steel, and has the functional performance of a highly hardenable chromium Stainless steel. With the additional advantage that the hardening treatment temperature is so low that little deformation results from heat strain, NAS 630 is ideal for steel belts.
